Meet Joanne Nesti

Joanne Nesti, veteran NBC 30 News Anchor, library helper and Connecticut Radio Information System volunteer, will be at the Sprague Public Library to initiate the newly reformed Friends of the Sprague Public Library.  Ms. Nesti will talk briefly on the importance if volunteering and giving back to your community, as well as the value of libraries.  After which, Ms. Nesti will take questions from the audience.  More information on the Friends of the Sprague Public Library will be available.  Refreshments will be served in the back garden following the program.

Doe is an editor of adult nonfiction with special interests in cultural and natural history, outdoor recreation, travel, and memoir, Doe has authored eleven children's picture books and has written several travel guides including Fun with the Family in Connecticut and A Guide to the Connecticut Shore.  Doe is currently at work on an historical novel for young adults. Doe strives to empower young writers to develop courageous works of art that reflect their unique perspectives on the world.
